Greg – Pastor from Florida.  I would like to heartedly recommend Paul Whisnant (Baptist missionary to Belize) and his ministry (International Servants) to you.  I have known this faithful brother since 1994 and have found him to be a man of honest character and sincere passion for the Mission field which our Lord has called him to.  I can honestly say, of all the Mission groups out there you will find none which operate with more integrity and dedication, and none more worthy of the support of God’s people.   

Steve – Pastor from Georgia.  Several years ago, I had the privilege of meeting Paul (Whisnant) in a Missions conference.  As a result of that meeting, I took part of my staff on a Vision trip with Paul to see his work in Belize.  After seeing first-hand all that God was doing through the ministry of International Servants, we entered into a partnership with them and have been supporting them ever since.  The ministry of International Servants is stronger than ever and I believe that God is blessing like never before. (Pastor Steve has been to Belize several times since then with International Servants on more Mission Trips).  

Ben - Team Member from Texas.  The jungle villages we served in Belize (on our Belize Mission Trip) lack every day conveniences like hospitals, grocery stores, clothing stores, cars, and paved roads, along with simple necessities like a bed mattress, medicine, prescription glasses, showers, phones, or toothbrushes.  I now realize God gives us so much so we can help those who have so little.  The International Servants team made it so easy for me to help change so many lives directly by serving, and indirectly by giving.  I am so grateful for having the opportunity of being part of such a great cause so close to home, and look forward to serving in the many more years to come! (Ben is coming back to Belize again this year to serve on our Construction Team).

Tony - Teacher from California.  Over the past two decades, Paul Whisnant (Belize missionary) has brought Christianity to the people of Belize.  From the most humble beginnings, the hand of God has guided Paul in his passion to spread the “Good News” of Jesus Christ.  Becoming part of a mission trip to Belize allows each person an opportunity to create the bond of a brother with Paul and to share the experience of investing in the kingdom of God.  This experience is life changing; the memories are eternal.  You will be a part of erecting churches, conducting Bible studies, visiting villages and huts to pray with the healthy and the ill, perhaps meeting (a jungle) Pastor and sharing a gentle smile or hug of love with a Belizean child.  You will also see the beauty of part of God’s creation, the jungle.  Your perspective of this temporary life on earth and the eternal life in heaven will be changed forever.  Long after you leave the soil of Belize you will want to be a supporter of Paul’s organization, International Servants.  The ultimate reason and the true importance of your life on this earth will be more clearly understood by standing shoulder to shoulder with Paul and his work in Belize for Jesus Christ.  If you are blessed, you may even get to return to Belize to see the growth from the seeds you helped to sow, with Paul’s guidance, among the Belizean people.

Joey – Police Officer from Georgia.  Paul, I just wanted to drop you a line and let you know that I really enjoyed the (Belize Mission) trip and have already enjoyed being able to share my experience with others. We saw some of the pictures already on Sunday night as we shared news about the trip briefly.  My family has been praying for you and so has the church since we have returned.  I have already started recruiting for next years trip and have pretty much dedicated myself and hopefully my wife as part of the crew.   

Mike – Construction Team Leader from Texas.  I would highly recommend that anyone participate in this ministry opportunity (Belize Mission Trip).  It’s a remarkable blessing to work beside those who live in a different country, speak another language, enjoy a different culture and yet worship the same God.  How do I explain laughing and crying at the same time?  To call someone brother or sister that you’ve never met before, because of Jesus, will be an experience of immeasurable impact on your life for years to come.  I continue to pray for Paul’s ministry and admire him for his tireless work and endless love for the Belizean people. I am grateful to him for allowing us to share in his vision for this country.

Bill - Mission Team leader from Oklahoma.  Paul Whisnant is an energetic, passionate man of God with an enthusiasm for souls that is unsurpassed in my experience on the mission fields of the world.  I love him dearly and have thoroughly enjoyed working with him in Belize.  Paul encourages short-term Belize Mission trips and works very hard to accomodate the teams.  Paul has been faithful to the Lord in Belize for many years and is worthy of our prayer and financial support.  Belize is a wonderful place to introduce young people to the mission field.  The travel time is relatively short and inexpensive, and the ministry is rewarding and fruitful.  The people of Belize are wonderful people who are receptive and responsive to our presence there.

Carolyn – Analyst from Texas.  I have been on three Belize mission trips led by Paul Whisnant.  These trips are life changing.  I have gained perspective, compassion, and a deeper faith while participating as a painter on the construction team. The gratitude I saw from the village people in Belize really helps put city life into perspective. Paul Whisnant was with our church group the entire time and what a blessing Paul was to each of us. He prayed with us, told us moving stories, laughed and cried with us. I will go every year, as this is much more than a vacation of time spent on a mission but creates memories I will have for a lifetime.  

Dave - Pastor from North Carolina.  Dr. Paul Whisnant is a humble, Baptist missionary with a heart of gold. He's the "Mother Theresa" of Belize. His staff are an amazing group of people, running Medical Mission Clinics, Children's Feeding Programs, Schools and building Baptist Churches in unreached villages. If you can only go on one Mission Trip in your life, this is it. It will truly change your life forever, it did for me.  

Dr. Mandy - Pharmacist from Georgia. I have been to Belize twice with International Servants. It was a wonderful experience both times. I always feel so blessed to have been part of a wonderful Team. I love meeting the Belizeans and being able to share with them not just the medications we bring, but the love of Christ. God used these trips to change me and bless me. I am happy to use my skills as a Pharmacist to honor and glorify God. I believe in what International Servants is doing in Belize...I am always in awe of the people He draws together to accomplish His purposes. In this, I believe I didn't choose Belize so much as God chose me to have the privilege to be used there. (Dr. Mandy is coming back to Belize again this year to serve in our Belize Medical Mission Clinic and her husband will be on our Construction Team helping build a Church in Belize). 

Chris & Becky - Married couple from Wisconsin.  It is our 10 year (wedding) anniversary and we can't think of a better way to celebrate than serving others. It's also a good example to our children. (Becky is a Physician Assistant student and will be volunteering in our Belize Medical Mission Clinic this year and Chris will be on our Construction Team helping build a Church in Belize.)
